Some simple demonstrations of facets of visual processing.

Detection of edges or lines and objective determination of local position & orientation at very high fidelity (sub-pixel) plus local edge sharpness for each & every pixel on an edge or line.

Very high sensitivity (sub-pixel) measurement of vector magnitude of local edge motion (optical flow) or magnitude of local stereo disparity of edges from stereo pairs of images, again for each & every pixel on an edge.

Automated region segmentation of images (even highly complex) with total determination of brightness & chromatic structure of all regions.

Auto fusion of mismatched images.

Automatic local curvature analysis for virtually any edges within a scene, again for each pixel along an edge.

Click on the thumbnails to see more about these and other examples (note that all the thumbnails are animated, but animation is largely sequential - please be patient) .
